Cancellation and Refunds Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation and Refunds Policy ("Policy") applies to all payments made to This Week in AI for our cohort programs, events, and related services ("Services"). This Policy is drafted to comply with applicable laws and guidelines in India and may be used by payment gateways and banks for verification purposes.
2. Nature of Services
We provide cohort-based learning programs, workshops, short courses, digital resource material, and online community access focused on artificial intelligence, automation, and business workflows. These are primarily digital and service-based offerings with limited seat availability.
For short courses, mini-workshops, and digital resource material priced below USD 10 (or equivalent in other currencies), all sales are final. No cancellations or refunds will be provided for such low-ticket purchases.
3. Cancellation by Participant
You may request cancellation of your enrollment subject to the terms below:
- Before cohort start date: If you cancel at least 7 days before the official cohort start date, you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid, after deduction of any applicable payment gateway charges, currency conversion fees, or bank charges.
- Within 7 days of cohort start date: If you cancel within 7 days of the cohort start date but before the first live session, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid.
- After cohort has started: Once the cohort has commenced (i.e., after the first live session or access to paid materials is granted), no cancellations or refunds will be permitted, except in cases covered under Section 6 (Exceptional Circumstances).
4. Refunds for Duplicate / Failed Transactions
If your account is debited more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, payment gateway issue, or bank-related problem, we will initiate a refund for the duplicate amount, subject to verification.
- You must share the transaction details, bank statement entry, and payment reference IDs with us at hello@thisweekinai.club.
- Upon confirmation, refunds for duplicate or failed transactions will typically be processed within 7–10 working days to the original source of payment, subject to your bank's processing timelines.
5. Non-Refundable Components
The following components are strictly non-refundable:
- Any applicable payment gateway or processing fees, convenience fees, or transaction charges debited by banks or payment partners (these amounts will not be refunded even where a refund of the base fee is approved)
- Currency conversion charges levied by your bank or card issuer
- Taxes (including GST) already paid to the Government of India or other authorities
- Any add-on services, one-on-one sessions, or consulting purchased separately, once delivered or scheduled
- Payments for short courses, mini-workshops, or digital resource material priced below USD 10 (or equivalent), as specified in Section 2
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare and justified cases (for example, medical emergencies or other severe personal circumstances), we may, at our sole discretion, offer:
- A partial refund; or
- A credit note / seat transfer to a future cohort.
Such decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis and will require supporting documentation. Our decision in this regard will be final and binding.
7. No-Show and Early Exit
- If you fail to attend the cohort sessions or do not use the Services after making payment, you will not be eligible for any refund.
- Leaving the cohort midway, for any reason not covered under Section 6, will not entitle you to a refund.
8. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

- Full name and registered email address
- Payment date and amount
- Payment reference number / transaction ID
- Reason for cancellation or refund request
We may contact you for additional information or documentation to verify your request.
9. Processing of Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed only to the original mode of payment (for example, the same card, UPI ID, or bank account used for the transaction).
- While we aim to initiate the refund within 7–10 working days of approval, actual credit to your account may take additional time as per your bank or payment provider's policies.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank, card issuer, or payment gateway.
10. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, we reserve the right to share relevant transaction and communication details with them to resolve the matter. We encourage you to first contact us directly at hello@thisweekinai.club so we can assist you promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
